Derana
Community Development Foundation was initiated at 1999 as
a student forum in University of Sri Jayewardenepura faculty
of applied sciences.we were registered under central environmental
authority in Sri Lanka .Our Organization was got name called
Derana.It is a Sinhala name and their direct meaning is
“Land”.
Especially
we are aim to forestry and agriculture-based programmes
for public welfare. Almost all our members had biological
sciences Knowledge. Education and awareness programmes also
done.
Since
beginning of Derana Community Development Foundation was
done number of activities at deferent zones in Sri Lanka
